Project: “Support for family businesses, enterprises from creative industries and crafts“, Programme “Competitiveness and innovations in enterprises” 2021-2027
Procedure objective: Encouraging investments to improve the production capacity of family businesses, enterprises of the creative industry and crafts, and thus contribute to increasing their competitiveness and strenghtening their market presence.
Intensity of funding: 75% for Family Enterprises and enterprises with main economic activity in the field of creative industries and 85% for Enterprises carrying out activities included in the List of Crafts.
“Milton” OOD has concluded a contract for the financing of an investment proposal for grant funding BG16RFPR001-1.004 dated 10.06.2025. The procedure within the Bulgarian Programme “Competitiveness and Innovations in Enterprises” (2021-2027), co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund. The procedure, titled “Support for Family Businesses, Creative Industries, and Crafts,” aimed to encourage investments in production capacity to improve the competitiveness and market presence of eligible enterprises. The program focused on the acquisition of machinery and equipment to implement product or process innovations.
The overall goal of the Milton’s project proposal is to increase the competitiveness and develop the potential for sustainable growth of “Milton” OOD through investments in inavative solutions to increese the production. The implementation of the project activity will contribute to achieving the objective of the procedure: improving production capacity and optimizing business processes in family businesses, creative industries and crafts, and thus contributing to increasing their competitiveness and strengthening their market presence.
With the implementation of the activities under the project proposal, the company will purchase an additional linear machine for seamless knitting and two machines necessary for the automation of the knitting equipment cleaning process. This investment will increase productivity and optimize processes, which will save time and improve the quality of products.
Expected results of the project are: increasing production capacity; optimizing and improving production processes; increasing the quantity and quality of products offered; reducing the time for order fulfillment by up to 15% on an annual basis; modernizing the technological park; reducing production costs; improving the working environment and motivation of personnel, automating and facilitating difficult processes and ensuring a significantly safer working environment; reducing the harmful impact of the knitting machine cleaning process;
